Getaways Tarkine Footage online
Last week was a landmark event for the Tarkine. For the first time in its controversial history, the Tarkine was seen by a nationwide audience for its value as a world class wilderness destination. And it’ s about time! Getaways “Hidden wonders of Down Under” was a short but visually spectacular expose of the Tarkine’s natural beauty and a launch pad toward the region  becoming a household name. So thanks to all of you who have joined us for walk over the years. Due to your support, we can continue to promote the Tarkine as an eco-tourism destination and for that we are ever grateful.
To see the footage, go to www.ninemsn.com.au/getaway   then click on the VIDEO option on the left hand side menu. Scroll down and you'll see the "Hidden wonders of Down Under" the Tarkine as an option, click and enjoy.

Tarkine Photographic expedition
With Rob Blakers,

Whether you're a beginner or a professional photographer, spending eight days in the Tarkine with a master of the art will no doubt be a memorable and eye opening experience. Rob is one of Tasmania 's finest landscape professional photographers and has probably spent more time shooting the Tarkine's grand forests and wild coastline than anyone in the world, some 20 years. Largely base camp focused, the trip allows for more ease than our regular walks in terms of pack weight and provides quality time at each location so you can genuinely soak up the scenery and shoot till your hearts content.
