Booking the gear

Once you book your trip, the online booking form we send you will include options to hire gear from us. If you need to adjust you hire gear requirements please contact us via phone or email to let us know the changes you require.

An important note

Our commitment is that you get the absolute best value for your dollar when it comes to both the walk(s) you’ve booked with us and your personal walks into the future. If you are considering hiring gear from us, there are a few key things that you need to think about to ensure that you dont burn money.

• Is this your first multi-day walk?

• If so, do you intend on doing more?

If this is your first walk and you are intending on doing more then ask yourself;

• Is it a wise choice to buy thousands of dollars worth of gear before my walk with out knowing whether multi-day walks are for me

• Should I hire the gear, see what suits in terms of pack sizes etc, then return and purchase gear post walk with experience under my belt

• Should I hire some gear for this walk and purchase the rest

If this is your first walk and you do NOT intend on doing more then we suggest;

• Hire everything, unless you can loan gear from friends

• Then if you decide post trip that you love it and want more, youll know what gear suits, you’ll have spoken to our guides about gear and you’ll walk away informed regarding exactly what you need and where to get it.
